History Channel Filming at Encanto Park June 17, 2011

Encanto Park is so glamorous that the History Channel will be filming at the park from 6:30am – 7:30 pm tomorrow! Alas, it’s about the pigeons. The show they’re filming is American Inventors and will feature an East Valley entrepreneur’s invention designed to move the pigeons along. The park will make a wonderful backdrop as the historic Red Bridge will likely be featured and the Garden of Dreams is in active construction.

Please feel free to go and look as they film around the park. It should be interesting to watch the birds, and the production! The History Channel has also generously made a donation for Friends of Encanto Park as a gesture of goodwill toward the community and park wildlife.

Thank you History Channel!  We'll post the airdate when available.
