   Volunteers will arrive by 9am – The following groups will be provi
 ding volunteers for the event\no Creighton Elementary Builders Club (5
 th & 6th Graders)\no Champion Charter Jr. High Athletes (7th & 8th Gra
 ders)\no St. Mary’s High School Student Council (Teens)\no Phoenix C
 ollege military branch, Hands on Greater Phoenix, Keep Phoenix Beautif
 ul (adults)\n\n•    9am Park staff will introduce Mayor 
 Gordon – to speak on importance of trees and shade\n\n•  
   9:15am Park staff will introduce Vice Mayor Nowakowski – to spe
 ak on importance of volunteerism\n\n•    9:30am-10:30am 
 Groups will rotate through 4 fifteen minute tree clinics.\no How to Se
 lect a tree – sponsored by Deserito Verde\no How to Plant a tree –
  sponsored by Arizona Community Tree Council\no How to Maintain a tree
  – sponsored by Western Chapter of the International Society of Arbo
 riculture\no City of Phoenix Tree and Shade Masterplan – presented b
 y Ken Vonderscher\n\n•    10:30am-12pm All volunteers wi
 ll then assist staff in planting (40) trees in the park.\n\n• 
    We will wrap up at 12pm with a volunteer appreciation raffle
